STOCKTON (AP) — Eguy Rosario had four hits and two RBI, and Aaron Leasher allowed just three hits over seven innings as the Lake Elsinore Storm beat the Stockton Ports 7-1 on Friday.
Leasher (9-6) allowed one run while striking out four and walking one to pick up the win.
Stockton tied the game 1-1 in the third after Austin Beck hit an RBI double, scoring Nico Giarratano.
Lake Elsinore answered in the next half-inning when Rosario hit an RBI single, bringing home Luis Campusano.
Brady Feigl (5-8) went five innings, allowing six runs and seven hits in the California League game. He also struck out three and walked three.
Lake Elsinore improved to 6-1 against Stockton this season.
JetHawks 11, Nuts 10
LANCASTER (AP) — Matt Hearn hit a walk-off two-run single with two outs in the ninth inning, as the Lancaster JetHawks topped the Modesto Nuts 11-10 on Friday.
The single by Hearn capped an improbable comeback for the JetHawks, who scored four runs in the inning for the win. Luke Morgan and Austin Bernard both drove in runs earlier in the inning to help set the stage for the game-winning score.
The Nuts took a 10-7 lead in the top of the seventh when Ariel Sandoval hit a two-run double.
Hayden Roberts (4-1) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Kyle Wilcox (2-4) took the loss in the California League game.
In the losing effort, Modesto got contributions throughout its order, as five players picked up at least a pair of hits. Jack Larsen homered and doubled, scoring three runs and driving home a couple.
River Cats 4, Express 3
ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) — Jaylin Davis doubled twice and singled, driving home three runs as the Sacramento River Cats defeated the Round Rock Express 4-3 on Friday. With the loss, the Express snapped a six-game winning streak.
Mike Gerber doubled and singled twice with two runs for Sacramento.
Sacramento started the scoring in the first inning when Davis hit a two-run double.
After the teams traded runs, the Express tied the game in the fifth inning when Jack Mayfield hit a two-run home run.
The River Cats took the lead for good in the sixth when Joey Rickard hit a solo home run.
Starter Enderson Franco (6-5) got the win while Akeem Bostick (4-5) took the loss in relief in the Pacific Coast League game.
