The Daytona 500 kicked off the start of the 2013 racing season this past weekend.

It also marked a new beginning for Manteca driver David Crouch. The owner of Deuces Wild Racing has committed to racing in the Lucas Oil Modified Series full-time.

A test run with Lucas Oil at Madera Speedway last July left a lasting impression.

“We were so impressed by how well the show was ran that it stuck with us through the winter and decided it would be a good fit,”  Crouch said. “I will have less conflicts with my work schedule by racing once a month, and the change of scenery every race will be fun and challenging in a new way.

Crouch had previously raced under the NASCAR banner at Central Valley tracks. His new venture begins March 2 at Havasu 95 Speedway in Arizona. It is the first of nine Lucas Oil races, with other events held in California, Nevada and Utah.

Deuces Wild Racing will continue to be sponsored by Bregante + Company LLP, Robeck’s Welding & Fabrication Inc., Off Road Enterprises and CentralValleyTV.
