Brubaker, Mitchell and Acker highlight Dolphins effort in Tracy

­TRACY — The Manteca Dolphins swim team competed in the Tracy Invitational and three Dolphins came away with high point crowns.

Mallory Brubaker finished first in the 7-8-year-old 25-yard freestyle in 16.78 seconds, and also captured wins in the 50 free (35.19) and the 100 individual medley (26.22) to earn high-point recognition.

Brubaker was also runner-up in the 25 fly with a time of 17.87 seconds.

Nine year-old Brandon Mitchell also earned high-point honors, finishing first in the 50 free (40.21) and third in both the 100 IM (2:15.35) and the 50 breast (1:05.66).

Caitlyn Acker had an outstanding day in the pool, winning the 50 back (41.07) and the 50 breast (1:09.98), while taking third in the 50 free (33.94).

Acker was Manteca’s third and final high-point winner.

Among the day’s highlights, Johnny Buonauro was second in the 9-10 50 back (39.16), while Ann Drum finished second in the 13-14 50 back (41.26).

Jacob Evans won the 9-10 100 IM with a time of 1:35, Lane Fishburn was third in the 9-10 50 fly (38.96), Andrew McMillin was runner-up in the 13-14 100 free (1:10.70), and Natalie Randolph was third in the 11-12 100 IM (1:20.36).

Lucas Romero was third in the 11-12 50 back (39.81) and Ricardo Sevilla was second in the 9-10 50 free (40.37).

Braden Woodward was third in the 7-8 25 breast (26.32), and Darrel Yamamura took second in the 11-12 50 breast (42.42).
