Cowboys earn wins on all four levels

The Manteca Cowboys took care of the San Lorenzo Jr. Rebels with ease, beating them 41-7 in Nor Cal All-American Youth Football League varisty action.

The Cowboys (2-1) got off quickly when Parker Caston raced 70 yars for the game’s first score. San Lorenzo answered back, but it would be the Rebels one and only bright spot.

 Caston finished the game with 173 yards rushing and three touchdwons, while Seth Santos scored on a 2-yard run. Mykhail Redman added a special teams score, returning a punt 65 yards for a touchdown.

Val Gomez paced the defense with five tackles.



Junior Varisty

The Cowboys were unstoppable at the junior varsity level, beating the Rebels 41-6 to remain perfect on the season.

Seuseu Alofaituli had an impressive showing, scoring a pair of touchdowns and collecting three sacks and seven tackles on defense. Marcus Panelo scored on a 44-yard run and Gabriel Francisco hauled in a 59-yard pass from Angel Sena in the rout.

Panello would seal the deal on the victory with a 66-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter.



Rookies


The Cowboys had little toruble putting away the Rebels, posting a shutout in a 34-0 win.

Matthew Pilkay led the charge with 106 yars on the ground and another 34 receiving. Pilkay scored a touchdwon and also threw for 42 yards. Both A.J. Martinz and Andrew Sena scored touchdwons in the win, while Manuel Guerrero was 3-for-5 for 41 yards as a score as the quarterback.

Defensively, the Cowboys were led by Julian Scoz’ 10 tackles, followed by Presley DeMello and Melvin McCoy who had eight tackles and seven, respectively.



Starts

The Cowboys scored early and often in a 58-26 win over the Rebels in NCAAYFL action.

Kimoni Stanley errupted for 405 rushing yards and six touchdwons in the blowout. Joshua Grabowski, Alex Scoz and Bitty Leon also scored touchdwons in the win.
