LATHROP — Bryce Davis of the Manteca Cowboys varsity knows how to get things going.
He returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown against the Lathrop Jr. Spartans on Saturday, and in the first quarter added touchdown runs of 45 and 70 yards on the way to 33-0 win in Central Valley Youth Football and Cheer win at Bennie Gatto Field. 
Davis totaled 135 yards on four carries. Gabriel Flores Jr. (nine carries, 115 yards) had a 15-yard touchdown run and Izayah Houston (six carries, 63 yards) added a 5-yard touchdown run.
Nico Salcido led the Cowboys defense with seven tackles. Ivan Alvarez, Alan Corona, Morgan Barclift and Houston all had four tackles.

Manteca Jr. T’wolves 42, Tracy Bucs 0
Tommy Perea ground out 190 yards on 11 carries with three touchdowns for the Jr. Timberwolves.
Perea scored on 1-, 5- and 25 yard runs. Jordan Serbousek racked up 143 yards on just four carries with a 15-yard touchdown. Perea’s 1-yard plunge was set up by an 89-yard scamper by Serbousek. Jesse Costa added a 2-yard touchdown run and Izaiah White rounded out the Sierra scoring attack with a touchdown on a 43-yard interception return.
Serbousek (interception) made nine tackles, Jesse Costa seven, Tommy Perea, Harley Hensley and Gabe Valadez five apiece and Isaiah White (interception, fumble) and Vincent Torres (interception, forced fumble) three apiece.

Junior varsity
Cowboys 34, Jr. Spartans 7

Anthony Morales threw three touchdown passes for the Cowboys.
Morales hit Sanatana Stevenson with one touchdown pass and had one of 25 yards to Landon Butler and 30 yards to Dylan Stonum. Both Stevenson and Stonum returned an interception for a touchdown and Jeremy Ap’e sacked the Spartans quarterback in the end zone for a safety.
Manteca’s Quinn Martinez had nine carries for 78 yards and Izik Quezada added 52 yards on eight carries. Blake Mount had five carries for 33 yards and two receptions for 23 yards.
Gavin Goodwin led the Cowboys defense with nine tackles. Christopher Gallego, Isaac Alvaraz,  Ap’e 1 and Brandon Sena had eight stops apiece, Quezada seven, Mount six and Robbie Espinoza and Stevenson five apiece.
 
Junior varsity
Buccaneers 24, Jr. Timberwolves 14

Manteca scored two first-quarter touchdowns. 
Gage Pfeifer (10 carries, 114 yards) scored on a 60-yard run and Juju Moncada (eight carries, 120 yards) added a 78-yard touchdown run. Preston Smith was 2 of 8 passing for 37 yards.
Niko Ellks made seven tackles for the Jr. Timberwolves, Damian Delgadillo, Ivan Huerta (forced fumble), Luis Rosas Jr. and Isiah Alcocer five apiece and Noah Navarro four.
 
Rookies
Buccaneers 19, Jr. Timberwolves 6

Manteca was held to 150 yards total while losing two fumbles and committing nine penalties.
Madden Melendez (eight carries, 82 yards) scored on a 55-yard run for the Jr. Timberwolves.
Manteca’s Kendall Sweet-Mallory made 10 tackles and recovered a fumble. Brody Carabello and Tino Torres added six tackles each with Eric Vaquera (fumble recovery), Gilbert Luiz and Albert Menchaca each making five tackles.

Cowboys 41, Jr. Spartans 0
Julian Ramirez scored four touchdowns for the Cowboys.
Ramirez (nine carries, 41yards) scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and from 5 and 10 yards out. Nicco Juarez  (eight carries, 156 yards) added 45- and 66-yard scoring runs. Ricky Soria added 32 yards on six carries and Elias Lopez 30 yards on five carries.
Ramirez made paced the Manteca defense with six tackles. Nicco Juarez (forced fumble, fumble recovery), Devin Downey and Kyler Cayode added five stops each and Michael Rivera and Julian Constance had three apiece.

Cowboys 48, Jr. Spartans 0

Six Cowboys scored in a balanced win.
Terrence Montgomery (four carries, 93 yards) had two touchdowns with Bryant Lewis (five carries, 144 yards), Devin Cortinas (four carries, 38 yards), Isaac Estrada (three carries,) and Giovanni Perry each scoring one touchdown.
Christian Hernandez returned an interception for a touchdown and made five tackles. Montgomery and Jonathan Morales added nine stops each and Ayden Brown six.
