The Manteca Jaguars youth football team swept the Turlock 49ers at all levels Saturday at Sierra High starting with the pee-wee squad’s 12-0 victory in Week 1 of the Cen-Cal season.

Angel Garay and Kyle Lynch handled the load offensively, as each scored a touchdown while combining to rush for 90 yards. Jaylen Jackson contributed 26 yards, and Anthony James had 15.

While the offense did just enough, the defensive unit dominated en route to the shutout.

Jonathan Dunn and Garay (sack) each recorded four tackles, while Lynch recovered a fumble and added a sack. Domenic Wolfoson, Miguel Sequeira, Jose Ceja, Nicolas Perez and Andrew Moore also played well defensively.

The Jags will look to keep it rolling next week at Golden Valley High where they will square off with the Merced Cougars.
