Manteca White’s Xavier Guerrero singled home Andrew DeFrenchi in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to give Manteca White a 5-4 walk-off win over Manteca Green in the first game of the best-of-three series for the Manteca Little League junior championship at Morenzone Field.
Manteca White took a 4-2 lead in the sixth inning when Zenon Grey singled in Wyatt DeFrenchi and Grey scored on a single by Ezra Alvarado. Manteca White went ahead 2-1 in the third inning when with two outs Andrew DeFrenchi (2 for 4, two runs) legged out an infield single, was balked to second and scored on a single by Guerrero (2 for 4, two RBI, run). Guerrero scored on Ingraca Jayson’s single.
