Santino Sanchez and Vindy Diaz scored three touchdowns, and Blake Scalise threw for three scores for the Manteca Jr. Buffaloes varsity in a 58-6 thumping of the Lathrop Jr. Spartans in Central Valley Youth Football and Cheer action.
Scalise (180 yards passing) had touchdown throws of 30 yards to D Angelo Riego and 41 yards and 80 yards to Diaz (three receptions, 150 yards). Diaz added a 3-yard touchdown run. Sanchez (three carries, 72 yards) scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and on an 80-yard gallop and Erian Johnson Jr. (six carries, 122 yards) scored on a 35-yard run.
Johnson Jr. made eight tackles, Diaz six, Isaac Fountain five, and four apiece for Sanchez (interception) and Nicky Jiminez. Giancarlo Ramirez-Oaxaca, Isaiah Fountain, Isileli Lolohea and Jose Rivera each recovered a fumble.

Tobias Cox scored three touchdowns for the Cowboys.
Cox (175 yards receiving) returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and scored on 80-yard and 95-yard passes from Elias Lopez (30 yards rushing, 175 yards passing). Lopez scored on a 23-yard run, Terrence Montgomery added a 9-yard touchdown run and Elijah Abadan scored from 52 yards out.
Manteca’s Mateo Montes made seven tackles, and Bryant Lewis and Aiden Spino added five stops each. Devin Cortinas, Jonathan Morales and Ruben Maldonado made an interception apiece.

Trailing 20-0 in the third quarter, Manteca’s Izaiah Faye added two second-half scores.
Faye (14 carries for 115 yards) scored on runs of 5 and 60 yards. Brady Davis added five carries for 47 yards with Nolan Mendez, Elijah Fregia and Ruben Cedano contributing on offense.
Josiah Hopkins made six tackles for the Cowboys, with three apiece for A.J. Aguirre, Rafael Nunez, Jaden Grimal and Brooklyn Montandon.

Quinnie Dunbar got the Buffaloes on the board with a 2-yard touchdown run. Maverick Brum added a 4-yard scoring run.
Dunbar gained 72 yards on 13 carries and John Ellis added 53 yards on 10 carries.
Manteca’s Aiden Freitas made four tackles with a forced fumble and fumble recovery. Francisco Diaz added three stops.

Manteca’s Alejandro Hernandez ran for two touchdowns and passed for one.
Hernandez (3 for 3 passing, 55 yards) hit Donavyn Williams with a 35-yard touchdown pass. Mateo Gavino (11 carries, 106 yards) and Hudson Green (five carries, 35 yards) each scored a rushing touchdown. Romeo Huerta added 64 yards on seven carries.
Angelo Martinez (forced fumble, three fumble recoveries) and Hudson Green (two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery) each made eight tackles, Gavino and Adriel Cedano (interception) both made six stops, with four for Donavyn Williams (fumble recovery).

Johnson (16 carries 173 yards) tallied touchdown runs of 22, 45 and 60 yards. Trenton Fitzhugh hit Michael Gully with a 60-yard touchdown pass.
Johnson made nine tackles, Jeremiah Williams five, Jakob Husband, Micheal Gully Jr. and Steven Wynn Jr. four apiece with three for Fitzhugh (interception).

Fryer (14 carries, 251 yards) scored on 1-, 6-, 55- and 65- yard runs. Carson Bouslog scored on a 35-yard run and Tiger Singh (three carries, 39 yards) added a 30-yard touchdown run.
Gabe Hernandez, Carter Louis and Singh made four tackles apiece and Cooper Calvillo-Nolan made three stops. Taj Valentine, Harrison Catalano, Fryer, Malachi Wright, Angelo Lopez, Christian Cerna and Jose Cortez each contributed to the Jr. Buffaloes defense.
