The Manteca FC under-12 girls soccer team captured the NorCal Premier Cross-Regional Championships with its 6-1 drubbing of El Dorado United SC Eclipse.

Newcastle is now ranked third nationally by GotSoccer.com having won seven tournaments this year.

Maddie Cuculich spearheaded the onslaught with a hat trick, and Mia Cazel fired two goals. Dayanna Hernandez rounded out Newcastle’s goals.

Providing solid defense were Annika Bergstrand, Linnea Natale and Kelsey Hill with Marcella Salyer and Andrea Eusbio splitting time at the goalkeeper position. Faith Chavez, Daisy Galindo, Alexis Vilarino and Mia Villegas anchored the team from midfield.
