Pumas Gold still undefeated after title run

TRACY — The Manteca Pumas Gold ruled another tournament this past weekend to remain undefeated for the season.

The Pumas conquered the Tracy Orange Bowl Tournament, defeating the Sacramento Extreme in the final round to clinch the title.  Manteca also squared off with teams from Brentwood, Sacramento and Manteca Futbol Club.

Isabella Rivera and Ilena Rivera collected two goals apiece in the championship game.

Manteca FC Thunder
The Thunder came away from the Tracy Orange Bowl Tournament without a win.

Yaneli Avila, working off passes from Harleen Pable and Aurora Vaca, scored Manteca FC’s lone goal in a 4-1 loss to GBYSL CV Falcons in the opener Sunday.

The Thunder was knocked from contention following a 6-1 loss to Mountain View/Los Altos Dynamite. Sheron Cobb was credited with the goal.
