Keanu Duenas and Tommy Perea combined for five touchdowns Saturday to lead the Manteca Jr. Timberwolves varsity to a 51-7 shellacking of the Modesto Raiders.

 Duenas (six carries, 79 yards) scored on runs of 5, 30 and 34 yards and Perea (five carries, 32 yards; one reception, 18 yards) posted 8- and 10-yard touchdown runs. Jason Agulay (three carries, 67 yards) had a 50-yard scoring scamper and Jaden Ceja-Moreno had a 7-yard touchdown run. Alijah Cota posted 52 yards on eight carries.

 Luis Rivera led Manteca with eight tackles. Jason Agulay added seven stops, Cota six, Adrian Rios, Jacob Codde and Keanu Duenas four each and Jaden Ceja-Moreno three.

 

Manteca Cowboys 47,

Central Valley Outlaws 0

 Keona Cayode scored three touchdowns for the Cowboys and Manteca returned three interceptions for touchdowns. 

 Cayode (138 yards rushing) scored on runs of 15, 43 and 55 yards and Dylan Lee hit R.J. Bacigalupi with a 10-yard touchdown pass. Marques Callahan returned two interceptions for touchdowns — one of 40 yards and one of 70 — and  Inderveer Sandhu had a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.  Emilio Perez and Junior Espinoza also played well on offense for Manteca.

 Angel Ramirez and Emilio Perez led the Cowboys with five tackles apiece with support from Sandhu and Nick Ward. 

 

Junior Varsity

Cowboys 33, Outlaws 20

 Bryson Davis scored four touchdowns for the Cowboys and three Manteca scores were set up by turnovers.

Davis  (11 carries, 244 yards) scored on runs of 12, 47, and 71 yards and on a 68-yard pass from Omar Dias (five  completions, 130 yards) and Dias hit Landon Butler with a 7-yard scoring pass.

 Gabriel Flores had nine carries for 52 yards, Blake Mount 19 yards on five carries and Julian Perea and the ball twice for 15 yards.

Cowboy scores were set up by a Mount fumble recovery – forced by Santana Stevenson (eight tackles) – and another by Gavin Goodwin, also forced by Stevenson. Isaac Alvarez (eight tackles) forced a fumble on the last play of the fourth quarter.  

Ivan Alvarez made 13 tackles for Manteca. Mount added 12 stops, Davis and Nicholas Salcedo nine, Gavin Goodwin eight and Donovan Jones seven.

 

Rookies

Cowboys 46, Outlaws 0

 Seven players scored for the Cowboys.

 Anthony Morales (51 yards rushing) was the lone Manteca runner to score twice on a 23-yard run and a 6-yard pass to Martin Uribe. Nikko Juarez scored on a 63-yard run on his lone carry, Robbie Espinosa (46 yards rushing) had a 5-yard touchdown run,  Dylan Stonum (38 yards rushing) scored on a 29-yard run, Jeremy Ap’e (55 yards rushing) had a 5-yard touchdown run and Shane Lewis (20 yards rushing) had a 1-yard scoring plunge. 

The Cowboys defense allowed just one first down with Gabriel Lopez, Christopher Gallego, Devin Downey, Martin Uribe, Koa Rodrigues, Iziaha Gray, Kayden Jones, Juarez and Stonum all making three tackles apiece.

 

Starts

Cowboys 40, Outlaws 0

 Elias Lopez ran wild for the Cowboys, gaining 197 yards on just five carries with four touchdowns.

 Lopez scored on runs of 18, 34, 66 and 69 yards. Kaleb Moreno (six carries, 89 yards) scored on a 54-yard run and Isaac Estrada carried the ball once for a 55-yard touchdown.

 Lopez dominated on defense as well with 10 tackles. Daniel Bass Jr. added eight tackles and Adrian Sena three.

 

Jr. Timberwolves 26, Raiders 6

 Elijah Pugh ran for 151 yards and  Brody Carabello scored two touchdowns for the Jr. Timberwolves.

 Pugh gained his 151 yards on just five carries with a 39-yard touchdown run. Carabello (three carries, 28 yards) had touchdown runs of 8 and 20 yards and  Kendall Sweet-Mallory had an 8-yard touchdown run.  Leiland Riggelman had eight carries for 66 yards.  

Brody Carabello had eight tackles, Brennan McMichael six, Alex Espinoza four and Tino Torres three. Pugh and Riggelman also contributed on defense. 

 

Trans-Valley Youth

Football League Varsity

Ripon Knights 33, Hughson Oilers 6

 Blake Nichelson ran for 176 yards and scored three times on 11 carries for the Knights.

Nichelson had scoring runs 18, 41 and 86 yards. Derek Vanelderen added a 52-yard touchdown run and Thys Vanderhoek scored on an 81-yard  pass from Trey Fasani.

Nichelson, Stanley Kensic and Thys Vanderhoek had eight tackles each, Jacob Cormier added six stops and Logan Pollard had four.

 

Junior Varsity

Knights 36, Oilers 0

 Jace Beidleman threw for two touchdowns for the Knights.

Beidleman threw for 117 yards passing with a 29-yard scoring throw to Carson Sanders and one of 49 yards to Anden Ries. Stephen Dillman (70 yards rushing) added a 9-yard touchdown run and Jacob Camper scored from 38 yards out. Preston Zuidervaart pitched in 64 receiving yards

Sanders (four  tackles) returned a fumble 65 yards for a touchdown. Jacob Camper had 11 tackles, Andrew Mensonidis (fumble recovery) six, Ries (forced fumble) four, Cade Gemmell (forced fumble) and Konner Kibler three each and Chase Bogetti and Jesse Healy two apiece. Carson Bunnell forced a fumble.

 

Novice

Knights 18, Oilers 6

 Gavin Decena had just four carries for the Knights but he scored on three of them.

 

Decena totaled 140 yards with touchdown  runs of 3, 45 and 90 yards behind the dominating offensive line of Nate New, Wyatt Prime, Josh Jacobson, Jesse Walker, and Alex Rader.

 

CenCal Junior Varsity

Manteca Raiders 20,

Merced Bears 0

 Nathan Cedolini threw for one touchdown and ran for two for the Raiders.  

 Cedolini (5 of 9 passing, 68 yards) spotted Damien Rease with a 6-yard scoring pass in the second quarter and Anthony Grady (19 yards rushing; 78 yards receiving) with a 12-yard scoring pass in the fourth quarter. Cedolini ran in a 6-yard score in the third quarter.

 Fernando Villalvazo had eight carries for 38 yards.

 Manteca’s Eduardo Ramirez was in on nine tackles followed by Samuel Avila with six stops and Izayas Reyes with four.  

 

Peewees

Bears 28, Raiders 0

Isaac Covarrubias tallies 27 yards on five carries for the Raiders. 

Zackery Smith, Dean Sortonis, Aeryk Snyder, Jaxson Messer and Manuel Haro all played well on defense for Manteca. 

 

Rookies

Raiders, Bears

 DeAndre Patterson led the Raiders attack with four carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns. 

 Kristian Miranda added two carries for 28 yards and made three tackles. Elijah Arreola was in on seven stops, Valentino Dominguez and Jaxon Hetrick had three tackles each and Ivan Garay made 

two tackles.

 

Motherlode Valley

Football League JV

Ripon Chiefs 32, Tuolomne Bears 0

 Garrison Reis threw for one touchdown and ran for another for the Chiefs.

 Reis (7 for 11 passing, 78 yards) ran for a 1-yard score and hit Xzavier Clark (three receptions, 16 yards) with a 5-yard scoring strike.

 Kaden MacDannald ground out 143 yards on 10 carries with a 50-yard touchdown run, Jesus Ochoa (five carries, 20 yards) had a 3-yard scoring run and Clark scored on a 54-yard punt return. Tyler Paul Wentworth pulled in six receptions for 44 yards, Quinn Martinez had one catch for 18 yards and Seth Van Dyk tallied 20 yards on five carries.

 Van Dyk forced a fumble and made 10 tackles, Wentworth was in on nine tackles and recovered a fumble with Ochoa (tipped pass), Clark (fumble recovery), Reis and Ty Herrin all making three tackles apiece.
