The Manteca Jr. Buffaloes varsity squad bulldozed its way past the Gustine Redskins 53-0 at Manteca High’s Guss Schmiedt field Sunday.
The Jr. Buffs, now 3-0 in the Trans Valley Youth Football League, were led by a punishing effort from their ground attack and stout defensive play. Hector Soto needed just six carries to rack up 136 yards and three touchdowns.
Anthony Kieffaber contributed 88 yards and a TD on six touches and scored another off a defensive interception. Chase McKee chipped in nine carries for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Quarterback Jeremy Silva was also in on the fun, as he hooked up with Sam Rohovit for a 50-yard touchdown strike.
Manteca returns home this Saturday for a matchup with the Big Valley Sabres.
