Jr. Timberwolves cruise past Jr. Warriors

GALT – Marcelo Morales got three quick scores for the Manteca Jr. Timberwolves varsity Saturday in a 38-6 win over the host Galt Jr. Warriors in Northern California Youth Football and Cheer action. 

Morales scored on runs of 8 and 65 yards and on a 90-yard kickoff return. Luke Weaver rounded out the scoring with a 55-yard scoring pass to Gianni Addiego and on a 3-yard touchdown run for a 38-6 halftime lead.  

Gustavo Delgadillo made four out of five a point conversion kicks. And the Manteca defense surrendered only 45 total yards.

Junior varsity

Manteca Jr. T’wolves 32, Galt Jr. Warriors 0

Keanu Davis ran in three scores for the Jr. Timberwolves and Alijah Cota added two. 

Duenas (seven carries, 59 yards) scored on runs of 2, 8 and 29 yards and Cota (nine carries, 122 yards) scored from 15 and 49 yards out. 

Cota, Duenas and Adrian Rios had seven stops each while Jacob Codde (forced fumble, fumble recovery), Tommy Perea and Richard Torrez made three stops each. Jaiden DeSouza made an interception and Ramon DelRio forced and recovered a fumble. 

Rookies

Galt Jr Warriors 19,

Manteca Jr. T’wolves 6  

Julian Moncada and Luis Rosas combined for a 91 rushing yards on 16 carries for the Jr. Timberwolves and Moncada scored on a run of 55 yards.

Angelo Diaz led the Manteca defense with 10 tackles followed by Isaiah Alcocer with nine stops,  Rosas with seven, Isaiah Sanchez and Jeremiah Santos with six apiece and Jeremy Douglas and Robert Gaston with five each.

Manteca Cowboys 46,

Lodi Colts 0

Bryson Davis scored on four of his five carries for the Cowboys. 

Davis had 118 yards rushing with touchdown runs of 3, 15, 40 and 45 yards. Nathan Cedolini (seven carries, 97 yards) scored on a 10-yard run, Gabriel Flores had a 1-yard touchdown run and three conversion runs and Omar Diaz (two carries, 30 yards) pulled in a 21-yard touchdown catch and conversion catch with both throws from Anthony Morales. Robbie Espinosa added five carries for 48 yards and Blake Mount picked up 16 yards on two carries.

Randyn Sena and Christopher Gallego made four tackles each with Mount (fumble recovery), Cedolini, Gabriel Lopez (fumble recovery), Issac Alvarez and Bryson Davis making three stops each.

Manteca Jr. T’wolves 25, Galt Jr. Warriors 6

Albert Menchaca scored four touchdowns for the Jr. Timberwolves. 

Menchaca scored on runs of runs of 23, 36, 37 and 44 yards and Maddox Morales added 60 yards on the ground. 

The Manteca offense racked up 200 total rushing yards led by the offensive line of Jared Alcauter, Isabellah Crabb, Raymond Zimmerman, Joseph Ausello, Ernie Perez, Isaiah Ahio, Mateo Nunez, and William Ellis.

Ellis led the Manteca defense with seven tackles, Zimmerman had six and Gilbert Luiz and Menchaca had five each. 

Manteca Cowboys 25, Lodi Colts 0

Jonathan Constance ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns for the Cowboys. 

Jacob Paris and Anthony Glover (75 yards rushing) each scored once. 

Julian Constance (forced fumble) led the Cowboys defense with nine tackles. Jonathan Constance (forced fumble) added six stops, Jacob Paris five, Kaleb Moreno four, Anthony Glover three and Izik Archuleta and Fernando Flores had one tackle each.
