Stampede hands Jr. Buffaloes loss

Francisco Ramirez had 31 rushing yards and four tackles for the Manteca Jr. Buffaloes in a 50-0 Cen-Cal loss to the Oakdale Stampede on Saturday at Guss Schmiedt Field. 

Dallas Kaleimamahu 29 had passing yards for Manteca. Jesse Lopez made five tackles, Dylan DePrater four with Levi Abbott making a fumble recovery and Joshua Martinez forcing a fumble.

Los Banos Wildcats 28, Manteca Jaguars 6

Joel Yuson scored from 9 yards out for the Jaguars in the fourth quarter to avert a shutout.

Yuson had seven carries for 70 yards and  Rovin Soriano had 11 carries for 42 yards. 

Dylan Zimmermann and Zane Salgado made seven tackles for Manteca. Joel Yuson (fumble recovery) added six stops and Benjamin Wheeler and Alfredo Ramirez had five tackles each.  

Junior varsity

Oakdale Stampede 38, Manteca Jr. Buffaloes 6

Larell Fountain scored the lone touchdown for the Jr. Buffaloes on a 75-yard run. 

The game was called at halftime because Manteca was down to 10 players. 

Peewee

Manteca Jr. Buffaloes 20, Oakdale Stampede 19

Gage Pfeifer scored two touchdowns and Quinn Martinez one for the Jr. Buffaloes.

Pfeifer had 65 yards rushing, Martinez had 70 yards on the ground, Mateo Esparza ran for 25 yards and Noah Navarro had two receptions for 50 yards. 

Matix Cardoza had four tackles for Manteca and Esparza had two.

Rookies

Manteca Jr. Buffaloes, Oakdale Stampede (No score kept at this level) 

Brody Carabello paced the Jr. Buffaloes with seven tackles, 

Andrew Salmeron and Madden Melendez had five tackles apiece for Manteca with Andrew Martin and DeAnthony Hackett making three each. 

Melendez with had four carries 25 yards and Salmeron carried the ball four times for 20 yards. Joel Ayala blocked well for the Jr. Buffaloes.
