Early 2010 registration starts for Little leagues

Northgate Little League will hold early registration for the 2019 season on Nov. 19 in the McFall Room of Manteca Library from 2-5 p.m.

Original birth certificates and three proofs of residence are required for all to register.

LATHROP LL: Lathrop Little League will hold early registrations Nov. 21 at Save Mart Supermarket in Lathrop. Registration times will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Early-registration fees are $75 for t-ball, and $95 for all other divisions. Birth certificates and proofs of residence are required to sign up.

BABE RUTH: The Manteca Babe Ruth baseball league will be holding sign up’s for the upcoming 2010 season at Straw Hat Pizza on Main St. The cost will be $130 until Dec. 31 and $150 after Jan. 1. Sign up’s are for 13-15 year olds and will be conducted Nov. 4 and Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. Any questions call (209) 688-1467.

MANTECA LL: Manteca Little League has its registration dates set up for the 2010 season.

Registrations will be held at Straw Hat Pizza from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 19, Dec. 10, Dec. 12, Jan. 14, Jan. 16 and Jan. 28.

Registration fee is $100. Proof of birth and residence are required for all players to sign up.

Players ages 5-14 are invited to play, with divisions available at the T-Ball (5-6), Farm (7-8), Minor (9-10), Major (11-12) and Junior (13-14) levels. The season starts with practices in February, and Opening Day is March 13.

Manteca Little League is open to players in Manteca who live east of Main Street. Players from Ripon and Escalon are also welcome.

BOMBERS: The Bay Valley Bomber 9-and-under team is looking to recruit players to complete it’s roster.  The team is a competitive year-round travel-ball team out of Tracy.  The team will be holding try-outs on Friday and Sunday, for the remainder of October.  Locations will vary.  Please call for details.

BIG LEAGUE DREAMS

Big League Dreams is accepting team registrations for its eight-week indoor youth soccer program that will run from Nov. 21 to Feb. 7.

Coaches may pick up a “Show of Interest” form at the main office.

FREEDOM: The Nor Cal Freedom 14-under travel softball team is holding private tryouts to fill one or two spots for the 2009 fall season. The team will hold just 10 to 11 committed players to insure playing time for everyone.

MAYHEM: Mayhem Fastpitch will be conducting tryouts for girls with winning attitudes to help fill a few vacant positions on its 10-under softball team.
