CROSSPOINT COMMUNITY: Christmas at CrossPoint Community Church will be celebrated in a special way the weekend of December 18 and 19 with three identical worship services designed for the whole family.

Saturday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. and again Sunday morning, Dec. 19 at 9 and 10:45 a.m., in the Worship Center at 12th and Needham streets, CrossPoint’s nationally known drama ministry presents the joyous musical play A Christmas Tale. This play inspires and delights all ages as its musical troupe of storytellers from across the ages reveals the true miracle of God coming to Earth. Its surprise ending offers a fresh and unexpected take on Christmas.

Along with the play, the Worship Choir and Orchestra present beautiful music of the season. Services also afford worshipers the once a year opportunity to sing carols accompanied by an orchestra. Childcare is provided for these services.

Completing the week’s celebration, CrossPoint’s Family Christmas Eve service begins at 5:30 in the Worship Center. Carol singing, Scripture a special time for children and a dash of humor make this a warm relaxed hour where friends and family can take time from their last minute preparations to focus on Christ’s birth. No childcare is provided, and parents are urged to bring their children to this service.
