With the success of more than 200 homes sold since the Woodside Homes “Turn-Key” sales event began in mid-July, the builder is extending the celebration through September 30.  As part of the promotion, homebuyers enjoy a selection of any two of the available bonuses, including: a designer-coordinated package of a new stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator, washer, dryer and window coverings; backyard landscaping; or 30-year fixed rate financing at a below-market rate of just 3.75 percent.

“It’s been exciting to see such a strong response from homebuyers toward the Turn-Key sales event,” said Scott Hoisington, division president for Woodside Homes.  “Potential buyers have continued to express interest in the savings, which compelled us to extend the promotion through September on homes that can close escrow by the end of the year.”

While a desire to save money is one of the reasons homebuyers are responding to the Turn-Key sales event, it is not the only explanation for the uptick in sales, according to Hoisington.  “Many homebuyers started by looking at bank-owned properties, short sales or foreclosures.  Frustrated by the slow pace and uncertainty of those transactions, they are opting to buy new and buy now, instead.”  This gives the buyer the added benefits of a new home warranty, the ability to select designer options, up-to-date energy-efficiency features and the cleanliness of all new counters, floors, and bathroom fixtures.

Woodside Homes is building new homes at 11 communities throughout Northern California including Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Marysville, Stockton and Manteca.  Emphasizing the company’s new “design, build, live” commitment, at each community, buyers have the option to customize their new homes by selecting the homesite, floor plan and interior design to fit their lifestyle.

Woodside Homes designs and builds homes to be highly energy efficient, allowing homeowners to live comfortably while saving resources and minimizing utility bills.  Some of the energy-saving features included with most homes are radiant barrier roof sheathing; optional solar panels; high-efficiency air conditioners and gas furnaces; Energy Star GE appliances and more.

Founded in 1977, Woodside Homes has become one of the nation’s top 25 homebuilders with new home communities in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas and Utah.  The company operates with the goal of building homes with lasting value, integrity and quality while providing excellent service throughout the sales, construction and after move-in processes.
