FRENCH CAMP  – The Central Valley Association of Realtors is holding their annual Leadership installation at the historic River Mill on Jan. 12.

This year’s theme is Leadership for Local Charity.

The luncheon will be a charity event where CVAR will raise funds for each of its 7 local Councils to distribute to local community charities of choice.  Manteca, Turlock, Oakdale, Modesto, Stockton, & Westside Councils will have the pleasure of distributing these funds to the charities they find are in the most need in those areas.

CVAR has a strong tradition of supporting local charities through it Charitable Foundation which has had the honor of giving back over $1.5 million since its inception 10 years ago.  The Charity Installation Luncheon is just one more event that CVAR is proud to sponsor supporting the local communities it strives to represent.

Charitable giving tends to drop off at the beginning of the year and to supplement this, Realtors are banding together for their local communities.  This year more than ever, charity donations will have a profound affect on many families in need.

The luncheon is an annual celebration where CVAR leaders past and present are recognized for their excellence and kindness in dedicating valuable time to CVAR.  Current leaders from 2011 will be honored for their service, while the future leaders of 2012 will be formally installed and recognized as the new Association Leadership for the New Year.

For information regarding how to sponsor, attend, or make a donation to the event please contact CVAR at (209) 858-1700 or visit the web site at cvar.org for contact information.
