The appeal of Del Webb at Woodbridge goes beyond the obvious.Given its high profile and well-staffed volunteer community patrols via residents using golf carts and its super-efficient Neighborhood Watch, it is arguably the safest place to live in Manteca when it comes to lack of crime.Yards are well-kept and homes never seem to age thanks to a firm oversight put into place to manage and enforce property care long after the last new home is sold.There are no two-story homes, no cars being worked on in driveways, homes and street frontage aren’t turned into de facto used car lots, there is no blaring music at 10 p.m. (or anytime for that matter), and no property disputes such as falling fences, trees intruding into yards and such as that is all addressed by an enforcement system.And there are no “bounce back” adult kids. That’s because visitors are allowed but permanent house guests of more than a few weeks aren’t allowed. At least one spouse must be 55 years or older.Nor is Del Webb an exclusive retirement community.
