LATHROP HIGH ATHLETIC BOOSTERS CRAB/TRI TIP DINNER: The Lathrop High School Athletic Boosters Crab/Tri Tip Dinner Dance is Sunday, Feb. 9, at the FESM Hall, 252 North Main St., Manteca. The dinner is for those 21 and older only. No-host bar is at 5 p.m. with dinner and dancing from 6 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $40 before Jan., 31 and $45 from Jan. 31 to Feb. 8. MANTECA/LATHROP BOYS & GIRLS CLUB CRAB FEED:  The 32nd annual Manteca/Lathrop Boys & Girls Club Crab Feed takes place Saturday, Jan. 19, at the MRPS Hall, 1333 N. Grant St., Manteca. No-host cocktails are at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Dancing is from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $40 apiece and are available at the Boys & Girls Club, 545 W. Alameda St. (239-5437) or the Manteca Fire Department at 1154 S. Union Road.

NILE GARDEN COMMUNITY CLUB CRAB FEED: Tickets are available for the 43rd annual Nile Garden Crab Feed taking place at the MRPS Hall. The tickets are $40 each presale ($45 at the door)  and include cracked crab, baked potato, salad, bread and wine. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a social hour; dinner is served at 7 p.m. Following dinner is a raffle and then music and dancing from 9 p.m. to midnight. You must be 21 to attend. AMERICAN LEGION CRAB FEED: American Legion Post 88 in Turlock is having a crab feed on Jan. 18 at the Legion Hall, 75 Bothun Rd. CRAB & PASTA FEED: The Turlock Firefighters Local 2434 will hold its annual crab and pasta feed from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Turlock War Memorial, 247 E. Canal Dr. The event will benefit the Random Acts of Kindness charity program and 100 percent of the proceeds will go back to the community.

LOKI RHYTHM PERFORMS AT COFFEE HOUSE:  Loki Rhythm is performing at the Emerson Coffee House to celebrate musical sounds from around the world tonight at 7 p.m. The concert takes place at the First Unitarian Universal Church, Pacific at Bristol in Stockton. R&B ARTIST KEITH SWEAT:  Rhythm and blues artist Keith Sweat is performing Sunday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. at the Bob Hope Theatre. Tickets start at $38. In 1987, Sweat released his debut album “Make It Last Forever,” which sold four million copies. The album’s biggest hit was “I Want Her” (No. 1 R&B / Mo. 5  Pop), and the title track from the album was hit No. 2 on the R&B charts.
