Bass Pro Shops in Manteca is an outlet for avid outdoors people. But its wide range of male and female apparel lends itself to those who are into the western – that is, cowboy and cowgirl – outfit look. Those choices range from Bass Pro Shops’ own line of Redhead boots to a wide selection of accessories such as leather belts and even jewelry that go a long way toward achieving the desired rugged-type look.
The store, located in the Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley off the 120 Bypass and South Union Road, offers plaid shirts – a staple for a western outfit – for both men and women.
“We do have a lot of plaids, and they are very popular,” said Alexis who works in the store’s apparel department.
“We do carry women’s Carhartt-brand of jackets, pants, and shirts” to complete a women’s western look, she added.
While some may consider Carhartt as a bit “pricey,” our brands are affordable,” stated Alexis.
There are plenty of denim pants to choose from at the store, both for men and women as well. Some of these western-attire must-haves for women can be accessorized with Browning-brand jewelry that the store also carries. These include belt buckles, necklaces and rings. Some of the women’s denims even come with rhinestone pockets, which is currently popular.
“A lot of cowgirls like Browning jewelry,” Alexis said.
With the above items available at the store, Bass Pro Shops in Manteca may well be your one-stop shop to pull together a western look and get you ready for a night of line-dancing at Rookie’ s Bar and Grill in the Manteca Bowl Family Entertainment Center.
