Occasionally, folks of visitstockton.org will take the guise of tourists. They use this time to venture off into parts of the area in search of things to do, according to office manager and CTA coordinator Megan Peterson.Their recent excursion took them to the Stockton Delta KOA along 14900 W. Highway 12.Peterson indicated Thursday that this place a few miles west of Interstate 5 came equipped with camp grounds – approximately 200 sites, including tents and RVs – waterslides and water sports rentals.“I was amazed that there were plenty of activities for kids,” she said. Here are among top things to-do in the area: Opportunity Cruises – The California Sunset is a US Coast Guard certified vessel that can accommodate up to 80 people. Rides along the San Joaquin River Delta include buffet and appetizers. Call 209.259.3815 or log on to www.opportunitycruises.com for more information.
