When watching the Super Bowl, there’s one thing other than the actual game and the anticipated commercials that takes center stage: the food.

Family-owned and locally known for 35 years, Jura’s Pizza Parlor in Turlock understands the importance of food on Super Bowl Sunday which is why the eatery keeps its guests happy with chips and pretzels while they watch the game and decide what to order. Known for their wings and pepperoni pizza, Jura’s is also featuring special drink orders, including $1 Bloody Marys, alongside their regular drink deals such as $6 domestic beer pitcher, $10 imported beer pitchers and $2.50 well drinks.

“I think people come to Jura’s for the atmosphere. It’s the place to be,” said Pat Aghassi, Jura’s general manager. “We’re the largest place in Turlock to watch the Super Bowl, we can hold up to 300 people.”

Jura’s is already accepting reservations for Super Bowl Sunday and those looking to watch the game without one are recommended to show up by 2 p.m.

Jura’s Pizza Parlor is located at 309 North Center St., in Turlock. To access Jura’s from 99 South, take Fulkerth Exit, turn left onto Fulkerth Road, right onto North Golden State Boulevard and left onto North Center Street.
