Second Harvest Food Bank’s Chili Cook-off is set for Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Manteca Transit Center.Tickets for the fundraiser are $10 which provides unlimited chili tasting and non-alcoholic beverages. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Chili prep and cooking will begin at 7 a.m. and table set up is set for 3 p.m.The event will be limited to 15 entries on a first come first registered basis. Application and fee must be turned in by July 24 with late entries accepted by Aug. 3 with a $10 fee.
