Those low flying helicopters sweeping over parts of Manteca on Tuesday and Wednesday were all part of an ongoing PG&E commitment to safety.
The copter crews were inspecting the high voltage transmission lines that cut through the middle of the city.
Although it wasn’t the case this week, in the past PG&E copters have been spotted “hosing down” transmission power lines east of Manteca that were caked with dirt and dust to avoid future problems.
