Tommy’s Beach Bar & Grill is the Best of Manteca when it comes to pub grub, a place to enjoy a drink and to dine-out.
But for a killer martini and to be pampered by a chef that can turn a meal into a celebration, Isadore’s Steak & Seafood tops the list

El Jardin is the place when it comes to Mexican food, nachos or to find a bartender who goes the extra mile to make the experience - and drink - pleasant. But if it’s a taco you want, the hands down favorite is Taqueria La Costa while Las Casuelas is unbeatable when it comes to margaritas.

These are just some of the nearly 80 popular vote winners in the 2010 Best of Manteca competition. They were selected from among three nominees in each category that made it onto the electronic ballot by getting the most nominations. The final winners were picked by those who went online to the website put in place by the Manteca Visitors & Convention Bureau that allowed a maximum of one vote per day per category from any computer.

The winners will be honored during an awards show and celebration on Thursday, May 6, at a rural Manteca Victorian garden setting.
