Bethany Home hosting estate planning workshop

RIPON — An estate planning workshop – including information on “Crops Unitrust” – a unique way for farmers to give to their favorite charities, is being offered by the Bethany Home Foundation.

Senior estate planner Bob Zeilenga with Baranabas Foundation and charitable financial consultant Steve de Graff will share their expertise on estate planning and the planned giving from a distinctly Christian perspective.

“No one likes to dwell on the prospect of his or her own death,” said Bethany’s director of development Julie De Araujo.  “But, if you do not plan properly, your intended beneficiaries may be saddled with unnecessary red tape and financial confusion.”

The upcoming Thursday event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 20, at Bethany’s Town Square Assembly room located at 1350 Nikkel Way in Ripon with lunch being provided to its guests.

The workshop is open to everyone regardless of the size of estate, age or stage of life.

Reservations should be made by calling Julie De Araujo at 253-5126 or via email at j.dearujo@bethanyripon.org.
