SANTA CLARITA (AP) — Los Angeles County authorities say two juveniles found in a car with guns and live ammunition told authorities they were attempting to take part in a kidnapping prank. The male suspects were arrested Saturday near Santa Clarita after someone reported a suspicious vehicle in a residential neighborhood. Sheriff’s Lt. Doug Mohrhoff tells the Santa Clarita Signal newspaper that the firearms belonged to the boys’ fathers.
