SACRAMENTO – The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) reminds customers that all public offices will be closed this Friday, Aug. 21, in keeping with Governor’s Executive Order S-13-09.

All DMV offices will be open on Friday, August 28. Normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays) remain in effect.

The Department offers a number of online services through its website (www.dmv.ca.gov) – including payments for vehicle registration and driver license renewals via secure debit transactions, filing a notice of release of liability, change of address, and scheduling appointments.
