California Connections Academy @ Ripon is a tuition-free online public school serving kindergarten- through- 12th- grade students along a vast area.

It’s not too often that those involved with this virtual charter school can meet in person, face to face.

The back-to-school party at 6 p.m. today at Stouffer Field is looking to accomplish just that.

Prospective and returning students along with their families will have a chance to socialize and connect with teachers of California Connections Academy @ Ripon and learn more about the benefits of the school’s individualized approach to education.

There will be food and games for those attending not to mention a comfortable environment for people to chat.

According to organizers, this event is specifically designed for families who are going through the enrollment process as well as newly enrolled and prospective.

Authorized by the Ripon Unified School District – necessary under state law – this fully accredited public education can be accessed directly into the homes of students throughout Alameda, Amador, Calaveras, Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Santa Clara and Stanislaus counties.
