The Manteca Unified Board of Education during a special meeting on Tuesday approved the reassignment of two school district administrative personnel.Lincoln Elementary School principal Sonya Arellano was appointed to the top administrative post at New Vision Continuation High School in Weston Ranch. Her new appointment will officially take effect on July 1. She will be replacing Dr. Katie Peters who is retiring from that post at the end of the current school year.The second appointee receiving the green light from the Board of Trustees was Steve Anderson who is the principal at Neil Hafley Elementary School on Northgate Drive in Manteca.
