Jerry Sexton, 44, former owner of Sexton Chevrolet in Manteca, was found dead in his home Tuesday morning. It is believed that he died sometime Monday night resulting from a fall. He was found at about 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The San Joaquin County Coroner’s preliminary report said the death appeared to be from natural causes. Final toxicology reports won’t be available for several weeks.
Sexton operated Sexton Chevrolet on Spreckels Avenue prior to its recent closing. It was later reopened under new management.
The family requests that any services be kept private and there will apparently be no public memorial service.
