LATHROP – Two young men — including one that was killed — were shot late Thursday night in Lathrop after a vehicle chase ended in gunfire on a residential street. Dashawn Johns, 19, was struck while riding in the passenger seat of the car that was reportedly being pursued. He was airlifted to a Modesto hospital later died.
