LATHROP - The national King of Wake 2013 series is coming to Lathrop’s Mossdale Quarry Lakes on June 29-30.It is the fourth in eight stops on a national tour leading up to the crowning of a national champion. Thousands of spectators from throughout Northern California are expected to attend the trials.Robert Brown, longtime owner of the Oakwood Lake and Manteca Water Slides, is hosting the Pro Wakeboard event that is being sponsored by Rockstar, billed as the world’s most powerful energy drink and MasterCraft. The King of Wake is the world’s elite pro wakeboarding series that attracts the sport’s top athletes from around the globe.
