A still from surveillance footage in the Costco parking lot that shows three suspects in the burglary of 48 vehicles at the Great Wolf Lodge walking away on Thanksgiving morning.

Manteca Police are distributing still shots from security footage in a bid someone may be able to identify three individuals that broke into 48 vehicles in the Great Wolf Indoor Water Park resort parking lot.

And although the three were able to pull off the biggest concentrated number of auto burglaries in a relatively short time frame ever in Manteca on Thanksgiving morning, it didn’t go according to plan.

Police personnel were able to determine how the suspects arrived and how they entered the property through the cyclone fence along the freeway.

They used a stolen car that they parked along the 120 Bypass onramp bordering the southern edge of the resort property.
The three were forced to flee on foot when the vehicle they arrived in was located by a CHP officer who determined it was stolen and recovered it during the crime spree.

After realizing their stolen vehicle was no longer available, the suspects fled eastbound on foot into the Costco parking lot where they were captured on surveillance video without their face coverings.

The stolen vehicle was reported stolen in Roseville on Nov. 20.

Thanks to license plate scanners throughout the region, the vehicle was determined to have gone to San Francisco and other Bay Area Cities prior to arriving at the Great Wolf Lodge on the morning of the crime.

The scenario of how the crime unfolded was made possible after a community service officer obtained a copy of Great Wolf surveillance videos on Thanksgiving.

Further details are being withheld to allow investigators to put the case together.

The Manteca Police are asking the picture of the three suspects be shown throughout the Valley and the Bay Area to help identify them.

Anybody that can identify the three are asked to call the Manteca Police Department at 209.456.8101: reference case #25-05328.
