The Ripon City Council will conduct a special meeting today to accept the Final Map for the Meadowood Subdivision.
Elected leaders will look at this lone item at the 10:30 a.m. session in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave.
Meadowood by Lennar Homes is part of the larger North Pointe Specific Plan, which is a comprehensive planning document approved back in 2018 as a guide for the 310-acre mix-use development of the area between Highway 99 and the Mistlin Sports Complex.
This residential subdivision project consisted of the development of 88 single-family residences located just west of Fulton Avenue.
As a condition of approval, the Final Map was not to be recorded until all civil improvements, including off-site improvements, were completed and accepted by Council members.
They approved the processing of the Meadowood Final Map that allowed for the construction of 17 homes prior to the acceptance of those civil improvements this past October.
The Meadowood Subdivision Final Map had since been submitted to the San Joaquin County office for review and signature, and was signed by the County Surveyor.
All that’s needed is the required signature from the City of Ripon, which will take place at this special morning session.
