Ballot drop off spots for Tuesday’s election

Official ballot drop boxes can be found in several locations, including Manteca City Hall, 1001 W. Center St.,

The June 7 primary elections are right around the corner.

In order to make voting by mail more convenient, the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters office has provided ballot drop boxes in Manteca, Lathrop and Ripon.

The two in Manteca are located at City Hall – Civic Center, 1001 W. Center St. – in the Administration Building during hours of operation (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) and Raley’s supermarket (adjacent to the front entrance) at 1282 Lathrop Road.

In Lathrop, the official ballot drop box can be found in the lobby of City Hall, 390 Towne Centre Dr., during business hours (Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Residents in Ripon can drop off their ballots at City Hall, 259 N. Wilma Ave., Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those voting by mail are reminded to provide a signature on the outside of the envelope.

In addition, folks who are dropping off their mail ballots can do so on behalf of other voters pending their permission.
