The end of the construction is in sight for the Terraces at Bethany.
That’s according to Executive Director Cindy Scheublein on the three-story, 82 residential-unit building on the corner of West Main Street and Vera Avenue in Ripon.
“We are approaching the finish line of the Terraces at Bethany,” she said.
Scheublein noted that a few remaining items remain, including painting and landscaping.
The signage was recently added.
“Once construction is completed, several inspections involving the (San Joaquin) County Health Department, Public Works, and the Planning Department will be scheduled,” she said.
Recently, the Life & Safety inspection began along with the Fire Marshal conducting tests on the fire alarm system.
The California Department of Social Services – following the successful completion of aforementioned tests and inspections – will be called upon to inspect the facility to issue the state license, according to Scheublein.
“We anticipate residents to being moving to the Terraces in September,” she said.
Construction on the faith-based Terraces at Bethany began in June 2023 – the project is being spearheaded by Quiring Construction.
The project, once completed, will feature three studio apartments, 46 one-bedroom, and 33 two-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 475 to 1,235 square feet.
A lobby, formal dining room, café bistro, library, fitness / wellness center, media room, and multipurpose meeting & event hall rooms, to name a few, are among the amenities.
A grand opening is scheduled to take place soon with tours of the facility being offered during that time, Scheublein said.
