Ceres Police pursuit ends with arrests in Manteca

Four suspects wanted in connection with a Ceres home invasion were arrested in Manteca on Sunday.

Manteca Police were notified on Dec. 27 at 10:30 p.m. of a pursuit entering Manteca involving a vehicle wanted in connection with the Ceres crime.

The pursuit, involving Ceres Police, Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, and CHP (Modesto), ended near Grant Avenue and Ottis Alley where suspects fled on foot. They were believed to be in a residence in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

 Ceres PD Swat and Stanislaus County SWAT responded and led the operation.

Manteca Police Department did not take an active role in the investigation. At 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, four individuals were detained. Names are not being released due to the ongoing investigation by Ceres PD.
