Addison Stultz of Sierra High displays her fashion senses.

For the past 15 years, Angie Anaya has been involved in Manteca Unified School District’s CTE Fashion Merchandising Show.

The annual event produced by students in the CTE Advanced Merchandising will take place Saturday at the Manteca High gym. A VIP event will take place beginning at 5 p.m. in the foyer, followed by the Fashion Show at 6 o’clock.

Cost is $10 for VIP and $5 for general admission. Tickets are available via CTE Fashion students, Instagram (musdfashionshow2025), at the door (cash only), or by calling 209.601.6651.

Proceeds from this event will help defray cost for her students to attend Los Angeles FIDM, Getty Museum, and DVF Fashion Exhibit.

Not too long ago, the CTE program reached out via social media in search of ninth- through- 12th grade models from the five comprehensive high schools – MHS, East Union, Sierra, Weston Ranch, and Lathrop High – to take part in the Fashion Show.

Those selected will showcase collections of historical costumes (compliments of WRHS teacher Mrs. Wayman) along with local businesses such as Maurice’s, Old Navy, Playful Pattern dresses, Thrift, and Boutique 54.

Gothic formal will be displayed by MHS student Joy Paler along with culture (Hispanic, African, Indian), Wellgroomed, Men’s Warehouse, Formal, Boutique LC, and denim by CTE Advanced students.

The entertainment list includes Momma Mia by MHS Theatre students, MHS API Dancers, and MHS / East Union Folklorico Dancers.

In addition, MHS Digital Photography, MHS Advanced Digital Communications, MHS Businesses, MHS JROTC, MHS Floral, CTE Advanced Interior Design, and SHS Culinary are collaborating their efforts for this event.
