Which pregnancy help center will receive the most donated diapers in 3 hours?

 It is a fierce competition between the local centers each year.

For the 24th year, KYCC radio station in Stockton is hosting their annual Baby Shower & Diaper Dash, with live broadcasting from each location. Manteca’s local non-profit center will have their drop-off location at Calvary Community Church’s west parking lot, 815 West Lathrop Road, Manteca.

On Friday, Jan. 23, between 3 and 6 p.m. the radio station’s tent will be staffed by volunteers ready to receive donations.

Diapers, as well as anything usually brought to a baby shower, along with maternity clothes, will be gladly accepted for our mothers, babies, and families in need.

Monetary donations are also welcome and count as four diapers per dollar.

Manteca Pregnancy Help Center provides a variety of free, caring, and confidential services for girls, women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy.

They are located at 401 N Main Street, Manteca (209) 239-9899, and their hours are Monday and Wednesday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as Tuesday and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m.

The goal is to exceed our last year’s total of 8,877 diapers.
