The Diaper Derby is a time-honored tradition of the Almond Blossom Festival.

This year’s event of the 63rd Almond Blossom Festival will take place on Saturday morning, Feb. 22, at the Ripon High North Gym.

The Diaper Derby is open to all crawling babies 12 months or younger.

Entry fee is $10 – registration will be accepted at the door but organizers are encouraging early registration to help keep things running smoothly – with check-in at 9 o’clock and Diaper Derby scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m.

Hosted by MOPS of Calvary Reformed Church, this event has “seen generations of families complete for the ultimate title – the fastest crawler in Ripon,” said the Ripon Chamber of Commerce via social media.
