Fire causes $500,000 plus in damages to Mohr Circle home
Fire

A late Monday morning fire caused more that $500,000 in damage to a house on Mohr Circle off Daniels Street just north of the 120 Bypass.

Manteca Fire Chief Dave Marques said that based on witness reports that there may have been an individual inside, firefighters entered the burning home for a search but found no one.

When crews arrived much of the second floor appeared to be engulfed in flames. It took just over a half hour to put out the fire. The fire damage was primarily on the second floor while there was smoke damage throughout. Marques said the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Five Manteca engine companies as well as a Lathrop Manteca fire engine responded to the fire that was reported a little after 11 a.m. Monday.
