Business in Manteca is taking a big bounce — literally.
Altitude Trampoline Park is getting ready to open on the northwest corner of Spreckels Avenue and Norman Drive across from Target in space that housed a seasonal Halloween costume store after Sears Appliances closed.
The family entertainment concern features trampoline, foam pits, dodgeball, party options, and more.
Altitude Trampoline Park is in the same retail center where Valley Meal Prep recently opened.
Meanwhile, Hobby Lobby has submitted tenant improvement plans to the City of Manteca for the current Burlington store location in the Mission Ridge shopping center on South Main Street anchored by Wal-Mart.
Burlington is relocating to the Stadium Retail Center anchored by Kohl’s is space that became available when JoAnn Fabrics filed last year for bankruptcy.
Commercial real estate brokers indicated how quickly the two spots filled out once they became available speaks volumes about the strength of the Manteca market especially along the growing 120 Bypass retail corridor.
Hobby Lobby and Altitude Trampoline Park are the start of what is expected to be a banner year for business openings in Manteca.
Food-4-Less will open their second Manteca location this year while Save Mart will open their third Manteca store.
Staybridge Suites will complete construction of a three-story hotel on Atherton Drive at Airport Way this year as well.
Also opening their doors this year will be:
*Nektar Juice Bar, Club Pilates, and Poke Bowl in the Spreckels Retail Shopping Center.
*Two new downtown concerns, Sha-Sha’s Sweets Bakery in the 100 block of North Maple and Eliyanna Cafe in the 300 block of West Yosemite.
*Manteca Crossings is getting ready to add Jersey Mike’s Subs and Nation’s Giant Hamburgers to its center where Chick-fil-A, Maverik, Dutch Bros, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Crumbl Cookies, 88 BaoBao Handmade Dumplings, Mt. Mike’s Pizza, and Pokemoto Hawaiian Poke have already opened in the past few months. It is the center being anchored by the new Food 4 Less store.
* Starbucks and a Chipotle’s Kitchen are now under construction in the Marketplace at Main at South Main and Atherton Drive with a McDonald’s breaking ground soon. That center is being anchored by the third Save Mart.
*The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley anchored by Bass Pro Shops after languishing for 17 years under an ownership, was bought less than a year ago by Stockton-based Grupe Co. that is now in serious talks with nine new tenants in addition to a hot yoga studio and an IKEA design center that will be opening soon.
*A Tractor Supply Store as well as Dutch Bros are moving forward near the northeast corner of Union Road and Lathrop Road.
