Manteca firefighters conduct pants drive for city’s homeless
good deeds

The Manteca Firefighters Association is conducting a pants drive — as well as other clothing and toiletries — for the homeless.

Donations can be dropped off through Oct. 31 at the Lathrop Road fire station west of Union Road.

They will be delivered to the city’s emergency shelter.

The main item of need are pants for men and women.

It is a critical concern as colder weather returns.

The association decided to launch the drive after all frontline firefighters conducted drills recently at the emergency shelter at 555 Industrial Park Drive.
