The 46th annual Holiday Affair hosted by Soroptimist of Manteca will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the Bank of Stockton branch at 660 N. Main St., Manteca.

This fundraising event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Cost is $100 for two people and includes food and drinks, and can be obtained by calling 209.679.6074.

A chance to win door prizes and gift baskets will also be available for those attending.

The Holiday Affair is a gala inside the local Bank of Stockton that will help provide scholarships to local students via Soroptimists’ major Ways & Means project.

“Every year we give $10,000 in scholarships to Manteca Unified School District students,” said Tedra Torrice of the local Soroptimists.

Soroptimists also provide $7,500 each year to help with counseling programs at the MUSD campuses.

“Every dollar we raise goes to helping charities, women’s groups, and students,” Torrice added.
