Manteca Gary Singh is conducting a roundtable for residents 50 years and older.

It takes place Wednesday, June 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Manteca Senior Center, 290 Cherry Lane.

Singh wants attendees to share their ideas, ask questions, and hear what’s happening in Manteca.

A complimentary lunch will be served.

Singh was first elected to the City Council in 2020.

He was then elected mayor in 2022.

Singh has been the highest profile mayor at least since the city went to direct elections for the office in 1980.

He has racked up well over 130 community outreach meetings including just over a 100 during last year’s effort to garner support for the temporary 20-year Measure Q sales tax.

Prior to being elected to the council, Singh served as a Manteca Planning Commissioner.
