More homes east of Highway 99 are in the plans for the City of Ripon.

The Ripon City Council gave the go-ahead at last week’s monthly session on the Meadowood Property Reimbursement Agreement with Lennar Homes of California, LLC.

This 13-acre area at 980 and 1050 Warren Road is located just west of Fulton Avenue.

“Lennar Homes is seeking to develop the approved Meadowood residential subdivision,” said Planning Director Ken Zuidervaart at the July 9 meeting.

He added that the reimbursement agreement provides an opportunity for the City to get reimbursed for staff time along with consultant management during development process for this project.

No discussion was necessary from elected leaders on approval of this item.
