This is what the North Lathrop Transfer Station at Sharpe Depot planned by ACE will look like. The station will be a mile west of Manteca’s city limits on Lathrop Road. It will include a center-loaded platform as well as parking and supporting infrastructure. .
The return of passenger train service to downtown Manteca in 2026 after a 94-year hiatus will be at a station that’s a first-class affair compared to the original station in place back in 1870.
