Pumpkin Fair seeks community entertainment

Entertainment — dancers, singers, martial arts groups and such — are being sought to perform on the community stage for the 34th annual Sunrise Kiwanis Pumpkin Fair in downtown Manteca.

The fair that typical draws more than 30,000 people to downtown takes place Saturday, Oct. 6, and Sunday, Oct. 7.

The community stage will be located in the Manteca Bedquarters parking lot at Yosemite Avenue and Main Street.

Pumpkin Fair Chair Carol Davis  noted all time slots are scheduled in 25 minute increments. Performers will be scheduled on a first come, first scheduled basis, Slots fill quickly. 

Most spaces yet to be filled are on Saturday although there are several openings on Sunday.

No groups will be scheduled for more than one performance slot unless there is a shortage of groups wishing to perform.  To confirm your participation in this year’s Pumpkin Fair, or for any questions, contact  Davis at 825-4282.
